Farm Fuel, DEF and Chemical Pumps That Need No Power
On the farm, the drum is rarely next to an outlet. These pumps move fuel, DEF, fertilizer and cleaners by hand or from a truck battery.
Which farm pump do you need?
Gasoline or diesel, no power: Double Diaphragm Fuel Transfer Pump (DD-8a), about 1 gallon per 5 strokes.
Fueling equipment in the field: 12 Volt Fuel Transfer Pump (ECO-8) runs off a vehicle battery.
DEF for tractors and trucks: DEF Hand Lever Pump with Discharge Hose.
Liquid fertilizer, detergents and water-based chemicals: Polypropylene Rotary Pump, 8 GPM (3003).
Water and light liquids: Polyethylene Siphon Pump, 7 GPM (4006).
Farm tips
Label each pump for one liquid. A pump used on herbicide should never go into a DEF or fuel drum.
Rinse chemical pumps after use and store them out of the sun to extend seal life.
